I served with your father when I was in the Navy. We were both instructors at the U.S. Navy Preventive Medicine School, Oakland, CA. If it is possible I would certainly like getting in touch with him again. I visted Mike's site but it was under construction and was unable to contact him.

Just reading this made me tear up and it's been a week since our separate "incidents". [HEAVY SIGH]. All I can think is that "this too shall pass". Whoever said that must have been on drugs. Hey, I need drugs. If I take drugs will it make that statement seem more believable? I love you Sister. All of me loves all of you.

You're right, it did make me laugh. If your list was numbered, I could tell you which ones made me laugh out loud but I'm too lazy to count that much right now. You know my address though and I'll be waiting for my note and my thank you note. And I think you could totally rock the cowboy boots and a chunky coral necklace. Totally. I know!! Not only did we get tickets to the local Rascals game, but it comes with a JUMBO hot dog AND a drink!! Crazy I know!! I even suggested it! Even crazier!

It's only 3/4 of a mile from the house.

Those are my birds! I was totally surprised to see your link. I think Dollar Tree has the birds in some stores and not in others. What a nice lady to help you with the chair. When I first read the sentence, I was sure she was offering to take it home...with her!

I loved those birds! I searched and searched for some here in my town, but they must have swept thru before I could get them. I did however find them in St. Peters, MO when I was up there this month. I bought 4 just in case I needed more and they were out the next time I was up there! Who knows, my fellow thrifters may just get a set of birds as a present?!
